My process behind creating an art trade piece of a lion for my wonderful hair stylist.

Soooo... I’ve taken this road trip with my dog to Colorado to visit with good people and enjoy the freedom away from most of my things. And I brought only the art supplies that I am very new at… becoming familiar with: Resin painting supplies and alcohol ink. that’s all.
We must remember... we are ALL made of stardust.
With flutes, windpipes, and the sounds of rain and fire dancing around me, I got out my inks and painted this. For an hour or so, I was exactly where I wanted to be.
The way I look at at, process ain't always pretty, but it is the majority of what goes into artwork. I would imagine that viewers of art who do not draw or paint rarely take into consideration what the process looks like... or, however, if they do, perhaps it's a huge mystery. So this post is all about debunking that, showing you the ugly side of my own process, and opening myself up to the vulnerabilities that come with the beautiful life of an artist.
